Reviews ofGrill Daddy Grill Brush
This is a piece of garbage. I would have been better off buying a cup, and a brush head. I do not know where this company gets off charging this amount of money for this piece of garbage. If I was on the board of this company, I would fire everybody. This product is not fit to sell. It is an embarrasment to the intelligence of the american consumer.
great product and great service. Could not have been easier to order and the item arrived on time
DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
I should've known better than be seduced by an infomercial, but its been a while since I let myself be taken, so I guess I was due. This is nothing more than a cheap, plastic handle connected to a standard steel grill brush, with about 3 holes in the head so water can drip out. The plug for the water hole doesn't fit, and the seams on the plastic look like they could spring a leak any second. The website says "safe for all grills" but my manufacturer specifically says NOT to use steel brushes on my grill. I followed the instructions and preheated my grill. This didn't work any better than a regular brush. Plus, I paid $19.95 for shipping! (My own, fault, I know). For a product advertised at $14.95. Plus, when you order off the web page, the default is to the higher-priced, "deluxe" version & I had to go back & start over when I realized it. Someday, someone may come up with a quick, easy way to clear a grill, but this is NOT it. Save your money. (I had to give it one star or my review would not be accepted. Amazon needs to allow for giving something NO stars.....)
My wife is always looking for ways to make me more helpful around the house. She knows I hate to clean the grill even though I use it a lot. I got tired of buying steel brushes to clean the grill and have them all gummed up in a few weeks. She bought me the Grill Daddy and I finally got around to trying it and it works pretty good. You have to turn the grill on high and you load the Grill Daddy with about a cup of water and you go to work. The water on the hot grill turns to steam and it got my grill looking like new. Now, it didn't help me with all the other cleaning that I had to do on my Webber gas grill. I still have to spend a Saturday afternoon taking care of all that is below the grill. However, I know I can get the grill clean in a relatively short period of time. I only used it once and I know it came with an extra set of brushes but I don't think that these brushes will gum up all that soon. (Especially since I don't clean the grill that often). However, I couldn't help but see all the gunk on the grill fall away into the drop pan rather than sticking to the brush.
Doesn't operate as advertised! Water did not flow freely out of it and it had little more effect on my grill than a normal grill brush. Would not recommend to anyone.

Q&A
How long should I grill a 1 pound ribeye for medium rare?
midnightslasher83's Question:
I bought a ribeye earlier today that's just a hair over a pound and almost an inch thick. I'm gonna be grilling it on high heat on my indoor George Forman grill. It's the round grill that's on a stand and actually LOOKS like a grill. ;) I want medium to medium rare so I'm thinking maybe 2 & 1/2 minutes per side? Does that sound about right?
Nathalie K's Answer
I cook mine 4 mins per-side for med rare 2 -21/2 might be more rare than you would like.

Q&A
For George Foreman Grill owners, does anyone use grill sprays as a way to keep it clean?
bizarretrianglelove's Question:
I'd like to know because I hate putting all that work into cleaning the grill for ten minutes if I want to use it every day. I need to simplest, and most important, time saving way of cleaning it. I plan on getting the G-5 grill that has interchangeable plates but I was wondering if putting grill sprays make cleaning the plates easier than to not use sprays and scrub it after. I don't have a dishwasher so that option is out. Thank for any serious answerers.
audioworld's Answer
pan spray work (i like a lot of cheese in my grilling-it dont matter non stick or not) then clear with simple dish soap works if you dont have a dishwasher, dont just use a cloth or a paper towel, germs will still be on the grill
